Summer is round the corner, and so is the quest to getting the summer body we will be glad to show off while wearing a bathing suit. But feeling good in our skin is not only about vanity. When we feel good on the outside, we feel good on the inside. Getting in shape is about the body and mind connection, and the workouts not only build your body, but a healthier and happier you!
BUT! Of course, there is a ‘but’. Have you ever wondered why a friend gets fit just by taking long walks, while you can work your butt off at the gym and perhaps even look and feel worse than before. It is because the stars made us all different. Our bodies and our personalities today are influenced by the universe energies the universe in the past – at the moment of your birth. And these same energies influence which workout fits your body and personality best. So, let’s see which workout works for you!

ARIES
Your passionate character needs high-impact workouts, such as fitness exercises which build strength and increase flexibility. You also need a challenge in your routine, as it should never feel boring. You prefer solo, not group sports, where the only person to beat – is you. Try boxing, martial arts, weightlifting or cycling. For a Taurus, another important thing to remember is to not lose interest when results don’t show quickly. Focus on the end goal instead.
TAURUS
You need to be connected to earth, so the best way to get that beach body is to connect with nature. Hiking, running, rock climbing, or any other outdoor sports will lift your spirits (and lower the number on the scale), as long as you take time to appreciate your beautiful surroundings. You crave sensory experiences, so a sweaty fitness room just won’t do. But we will probably find you dancing in the garden instead.
GEMINI
Your workout must be such that it releases stress and tension, and if it is somehow connected to the element of air, so much better. Your stars recommend a good run, a hike or aerial yoga. And if you noticed you were always quite good at tennis, this is not a coincidence – those born in Gemini usually are.
CANCER
Before you hit the summer sea, hit the pool. Cancers thrive in water, but also find enjoyment in yoga, pilates and other workouts that ground them. If you struggle to find motivation, working out with your family or joining a group can be beneficial. But only, if you are in a good state of mind and don’t pick up negative energies of others, since you are a very intuitive sign. If you see that happening, go back to a solo workout.
LEO
Leos are natural born dancers. Your workout should be fun, expressive and playful, such that you can feel the freedom of your body as it creatively moves through time and space. You also love being in the spotlight, so a Zumba class is definitely on your to-try list.
VIRGO
Virgos need one thing, if they want their workout to have good results: discipline. And when it comes to the body, discipline translates to the core. Do exercises that strengthen it, such as yoga, Pilates or tennis. Or just practice planking and in just a couple of months, you will be walking the beach with a 6-pack on the outside (and inner balance on the inside).
LIBRA
Libras are not loners. Choose group sports, such as football or volleyball, where your need to connect with others can come through (and where your laziness and indecisiveness will not prevail). You also do well in low impact cardio exercises.
SCORPIO
A Scorpio’s mind is always extra busy, therefore you need exercises that clear your brain. And the way to do that is to push your body to the limit. Boxing, running long distances, and all sorts of intense workout is where a Scorpio feels at home. But, beware of injuries and try not to push yourself over your limits.
SAGITTARIUS
Any Martial arts will do wonders for the Sagittarius and their fiery character. It is the best way to let off some steam and deal with excess energy before it bottles up inside you. You also love the great outdoors, so any activity or workout in nature feels like an adventure, or a new experience to you. Try hiking, surfing or long walks.
CAPRICORN
This sign loves a physical and mental challenge in their workout. As you also always need to reach goals and achieve great things, the best workout that comes to our mind is rock climbing, where you will physically and emotionally be able to reach the top – and feel like you are on top of the world.
AQUARIUS
Often described as the most unique zodiac sign, the Aquarius will never follow a fitness plan somebody else created. Unless they made some sorts of changes to it. You are attracted to the unusual and unconventional, so you can try anything from biking off the beaten path or jumping on a trampoline.
PISCES
Besides the obvious (swimming and other water sports), Pisces will also get their perfect summer bodies by yoga, tai chi or dancing, where they can also connect with their intuitive side. Often, Pisces need strong and determined leaders or personal trainers who will push them out of their comfort zone (a.k.a. dream land), where they don’t feel good enough.
